He is Full Professor of Private Law at Bocconi University in Milan.

After graduating in Law with honours from the University “Roma Tre” in 2010, he obtained an LL.M. in 2011 from the University of Münster (Germany) and in 2014 the title of Ph.D. in Law and Economics of Business from the University “Sapienza” of Rome. He has held teaching positions at the Department of Law of the University “Roma Tre”; he is the author of more than one hundred publications in the field of contract law, succession law, and new technologies; he has been a scholarship holder of the Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst (DAAD) and of the Max Planck Gesellschaft. He served as a member of the Banking and Financial Arbitration Panel of the Bank of Italy from 2018 to 2024, and since the academic year 2023–2024 he has co-directed the Master’s programme in “Law of Technologies and Automated Systems” at Bocconi University in Milan.

He obtained qualification as attorney in 2013, is registered with the Attorney’s Bar of Rome, and since 2019 has been enrolled in the special register of the Court of Cassation. He has collaborated with the Firm since 2010.)
