Unless otherwise stated, all attorneys employed at the German office of PATTI Avvocati & Rechtsanwälte Partnership are admitted to practice law in the Federal Republic of Germany. All German attorneys at the firm hold the professional title "Rechtsanwalt" (lawyer) conferred in the Federal Republic of Germany and are members of the Munich Bar Association (www.rechtsanwaltskammer-muenchen.de) or the Düsseldorf Bar Association (?), which act as their supervisory authorities.

The relevant professional regulations include the Federal Lawyers' Act (BRAO), the Professional Code of Conduct for Lawyers (BORA), the Lawyers’ Compensation Act (RVG), the Specialist Lawyers’ Code (FAO), and the Professional Rules for Lawyers in the European Community. These can be accessed on the website of the German Federal Bar (www.brak.de) under the section "Professional Law" (“Berufsrecht”).

The representation of conflicting interests is prohibited for lawyers due to professional regulations (§ 43a para. 4 BRAO). Therefore, before accepting a mandate, a conflict of interest check is always carried out.
